Jet Pump Wear Ring - Sea-Doo GTX RFI / GSX RFI / Challenger 1800 / Sportster New 140mm jet pump wear ring designed for late-model Sea-Doo watercraft including the GTX RFI 800 (1998-2002), GSX RFI 800 (1999-2000), Challenger 1800 (1997-1999), and Sportster 1800 (1998-1999). Also fits the GS 720 (1997-2001), GTI 720 (1996-2000), GTS 720 (1997-2000), and all other Sea-Doo models using the 140mm jet pump. Replaces Sea-Doo 271000290 (current), 271000101, and 271000002. The wear ring provides the critical clearance between the impeller and pump housing needed for efficient thrust generation. When worn or damaged by debris, increased clearance causes cavitation, reduced acceleration, and top speed loss. Not for 4-TEC, LTD, or DI models which use the larger 155mm pump.
