Originating from the early 20th century, sea grass has served multiple uses; today, our Sea grass Lantern is a stylishly repurposed solar lantern for the modern day home's landscape lighting. The dried sea grass is weaved around a round iron mold, then fumigated and sun dried to ensure its weather-resistance. Located at the top of the garden light is a hanging single-cell solar panel (battery included) that absorbs sunlight by day and automatically turns on the white LED at night. The nighttime spectacle is otherworldly as the light passes through the interlaced openings. Can be used indoors or out.
